Thank you for your interest in joining Worship at The Mount!
We’re excited to begin the process of stewarding your gifts to the Lord.

Your first step is an assessment appointment to determine your current skill level and next steps for growth. 

As you progress, you’ll be assessed in six areas: pitch control (for applicable instruments), proper timing, ability to adapt to rhythm patterns, ability to shift keys, musicianship, knowledge of musical terms, and dynamics.

Based on your current level, we’ll share what’s needed to qualify for specific teams. Our goal is to keep everyone growing steadily—with the right level of challenge, coaching, and support.

Assessment Instructions

1. Please choose any 2 modern worship songs you will prepare to perform at the appointment. Words do not need to be memorized, but the song should be mastered. 

2. Submit our assessment request form indicating whether you'd like to submit videos or you would like to come in to meet one on one with a mentor.
